Riverbed of Buriganga faces its major flow, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Buriganga riverbed faces its major flow as the government did not make arrangements to divert two-thirds of the city's waste to treatment plant. A huge quantity of untreated waste is being dumped into the Buriganga river in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In Dhaka, an average of 15,000 metric tones of human waste is generated daily two-third of human waste dumped into the Buriganga river.
