Dumping garbage in the Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Workers constructing a jetty at Shyampur of Farashgonj in the capital city Dhaka, Bangladesh dump soil in to the Buriganga River. Dumping of Garbage in the Buriganga River goes unabated despite campaigns to save the lifeline of Dhaka. Stopping Dhaka City Corporation from dumping rubbish in to the Buriganga River  and moving tanneries from Hazaribagh would solve half of the pollution of the Buriganga River.
